Titon has recently supplied the new Titon FireSafe\u00ae<\/sup> Air Brick<\/a>\u00a0at the new Timber Works<\/a> residential development in Cambridge.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The development, a project undertaken by AJ Mechanical Services Ltd (AJM)<\/a> is among one of their largest contracts to date, with an order worth \u00a33.5 million.<\/p>\n

Timber Works is part of a calibration between Cambridge City Council<\/a> and Hill Investment Partnership<\/a>.\u00a0 They both combined to form the Cambridge Investment Partnership (CIP)<\/a> whose aim is to develop affordable housing in the heart of Cambridge.<\/p>\n

\"TimberThe development\u2019s name stems from the land\u2019s history. It was once home to Ridgeon\u2019s Timber, a family run business where logs were sawn, cut and stored for almost 80 years. CIP will help create a vibrant community upon this tremendous industrial heritage, with solid foundations for future growth. AJM is incredibly proud to be playing a role in the completion of this superb new location, designing and installing mechanical services.<\/p>\n

\"Titon<\/em>The Titon FireSafe\u00ae<\/sup> Air Brick<\/a> is a specialist product developed and manufactured to offer low resistance to airflow, and high resistance to fire, as set out in Approved Document B (fire safety) volume 1: Dwellings, 2019 edition.<\/p>\n

The Titon FireSafe\u00ae<\/sup> Air Brick<\/a> is designed and tested to BS EN13141-2:2010 specifically for mechanical ventilation systems.\u00a0 Made from 1mm electrogalvanized sheet steel, fire class A1 \u2018no contribution to fire\u2019 and polyester powder coating meeting EN13501-1 classification A2-s1,d0.\u00a0 The Titon FireSafe\u00ae<\/sup> Air Brick<\/a>\u00a0is ideal for fire safety applications.<\/p>\n
